WHEREAS, Riviera Utilities has offered to donate two used generators to the City of Foley's Sports Tourism Department, and
WHEREAS, the Sports Tourism Department would like to accept this donation
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the acceptance of the donation of two Generac 20KW 120/240VAC generators from Riviera Utilities, having a combined value of approximately $3,000 to $4,000.
SECTION 2: Approves the use of the generators by the the Sports Tourism Department and any other department within the City when available.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
