WHEREAS, RCI has submitted quotes for three separate locations for needed electrical work for the new Christmas decorations, and
WHEREAS, the submitted quote for the Centennial Clock Tower in the amount of $975.00 includes installing receptacles on four corners atop of the clock tower to supply seasonal lighting; installing circuit wiring from the southeast column to the receptacles atop the clock tower and install dusk to dawn photo cell to control the receptacle power, and
WHEREAS, the submitted quote for the Heritage Park Tree Lights #1 in the amount of $1,275.00 for the installation of one 20 amp, 120 volt receptacle circuit for the six angels and two large trees by the John B. Foley Fountain, and
WHEREAS, the submitted quote for the Heritage Park Tree Lights #2 in the amount of $2,975.00 for the installation of two 20 amp, 120 volt receptacle circuits to light crepe myrtle trees near the Depot Museum.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $5,225.00 into Account No. 619-6050 for needed electrical work for the new Christmas decorations.
SECTION 2: Approves the expenditure of $5,225.00 made payable to RCI Electric.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
