WHEREAS, the City of Foley, solicited and opened bids on September 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. for Memorial Tree Trail Expansion Boardwalk, and
WHEREAS, two bids were received with Blade Construction being the low bidder at $242,815.00, and
WHEREAS, the bid price is currently under budget and no additional funds are being requested, and
WHEREAS, City of Foley requests Council approve the Blade Construction proposal as submitted and move forward with the current project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Council approves the Blade Construction proposal of $242,815.00 for the Memorial Tree Trail Expansion Project.
SECTION 2: Council authorizes Mayor, Clerk and other City officials to sign the contracts and other documents required to proceed with the construction project.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
