Summary
The Foley Fire Department has received generous donations this fiscal year from several sources wishing to provide funding for additional equipment. We have identified a need for a battery powered ventilation fan, thermal imagers, and station furniture. We are requesting that our Fire Department Donations account 100-2020-4651 be amended to reflect the unbudgeted $7025 and our Small Tools account 100-2020-6053 be amended to show an additional $7025, for a net effect of $0.

WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department has received unbudgeted donations of $7025 from several generous community sources in FY21, and
WHEREAS, these donations are intended to support the Fire Department with needed equipment, tools, and furnishings, and
WHEREAS, there is a need to purchase a battery powered ventilation fan to assist with removing smoke and other ventilation needs, thermal imagers, and station furniture.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts these donations and amends the FY21 budget to reflect an increase of $7025 in the Fire Department Donations account 100-2020-4651 and an increase of $7025 in the Small Tools account 100-2020-6053, for a net effect of $0.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
