Summary
A reliable new vehicle is needed to help pickup and deliver concessions product. The older Ford Expedition is not reliable for Pensacola and Daphne runs and will be transferred to Sports Tourism for around town runs. The new vehicle is under budget and makes up for a reel mower overage. The vehicle will help serve our fields and event center.

WHEREAS, Foley Recreation needs a reliable vehicle to pickup and transport product
WHEREAS, Foley Recreation requests to purchase a Ford Transit,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of a Ford Transit from Stivers Ford Lincoln for $27,121 with account 100-5030-5100 under State of Alabama
Division Purchasing Contract MA999 160000000002-T191L.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
