Summary
The Police Department requests to declare (7) bicycles that were confiscated or abandoned as surplus. The Police Department also requests to declare, as surplus, multiple miscellaneous items (see detailed list attached) that have been cleared either by adjudication or found/abandoned property that has not been claimed within the required time frame. These items include: multiple clothing items (kids and adult), several electronic games, jewelry, sunglasses, drone, perfume, shoes and air pods. The bicycles and all miscellaneous items listed will be donated to Calvary Chapel Fellowship Dream Center of Foley.

WHEREAS, The Police Department has (7) bicycles and multiple miscellaneous items that were confiscated, cleared by the courts or abandoned that need to be declared surplus, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department would like to donate the bicycles and the miscellaneous items to Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Foley Dream Center, 18464 Underwood Road, Foley AL.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves declaring (7) bicycles and multiple miscellaneous items listed, as surplus.
SECTION 2: Approves the bicycles and all miscellaneous items listed be donated to Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Foley Dream Center.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
