WHEREAS, The Environmental Department has identified a stream in need of being cleaned out west of River Trace subdivision, due to Hurricane Sally related debris, and
WHEREAS, the contractor (DRC) has provided a quote to perform this debris removal for $25,000, and
WHEREAS, The Environmental Department wishes to move forward with this project and amends the budget accordingly.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Council approves budget increase of $25,000 to be made to account #100-9200-6996 S03 (Hurricane Sally S03 CAT C).
SECTION 2: Council approves to move forward with this project and contract with DRC to perform the work.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
