WHEREAS, Graham Creek Nature Preserve requests permission to apply for the FY2020 Alabama Coastal Area Management Program (ACAMP) grant, and
WHEREAS, the grant application is due April 19, 2019, and
WHEREAS, award amount will be between $20,000 - $50,000. Matching funds will be required at a 1:1 ratio with either cash or in kind.
WHEREAS, if approved, the funds would be used to build a boardwalk.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Graham Creek Nature Preserve to apply for the FY2020 Alabama Coastal Area Management Program grant.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
