WHEREAS, the Police Department is in need to retire (1) present Police Canine after a faithful and long service to the Foley Police Department and to the citizens of Foley. K9 Bo should be declared surplus and retired to his current handler, Cpl. Erik Morris which is current practice.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves retiring Police K9 Bo to his current handler, Cpl. Erik Morris and declare K9 Bo as surplus.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
