WHEREAS, the City of Foley was awarded the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Gulf Environmental Benefit Fund Grant for the Bon Secour Headwaters Restoration Phase I, and
WHEREAS, the Phase I grant includes property assessments, due diligence, engineering and design specifications, land acquisition and permitting, and
WHEREAS, Volkert, Inc. submitted the contract for property assessments, engineering and design specifications and permitting in the amount up to $508,969.92 for the services.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the contract with Volkert, Inc. for property assessments, engineering and design specifications and permitting for the Bon Secour Headwaters Restoration Project Phase I in the amount up to $508,969.92 under Account No. 400-2040-5100 R50 PROF.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
