They will set up for the event on Friday, February 14, 2025 from 8am - 8pm. They will have the event Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 9am - 5pm. They are also requesting to hold Sunday, February 16, 2025 as a rain date. They will provide live entertainment, food trucks, petting zoo, inflatables and have open flames. They are requesting approval for a special events retail license to serve and sell beer, wine and liquor within a gated area to the public. They will need assistance from Foley Parks and Recreation with providing trash receptacles, assisting with hanging banners and signage, supporting water and power hookups and placing picnic tables and barricades as needed.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama , as follows:
Section 1: Approves waiving the fees for the use of Heritage Park and Pavilion requested by Rachel Spears and the Kiwanis Club of Foley for their Inaugural Chili Cook-Off Fundraising Event from Friday, February 14, 2025 - Saturday, February 15, 2025.
Section 2: Approves holding Sunday, February 16, 2025 as a rain date
Section 3: Approves the use of live entertainment, food trucks, petting zoo, inflatable's and have open flames in Heritage Park.
Section 4: Approves the request for a special events retail license to serve and sell beer, wine and liquor within a gated area to the public.
Section 5: Approves the request for assistance from Foley Parks and Recreation with providing trash receptacles, assisting with hanging banners and signage, supporting water and power hookups and placing picnic tables and barricades as needed.
Section 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
