Body

 

     WHEREAS, the Environmental Department has seen an increase in work load for inspections and administrative duties, and

 

     WHEREAS, the Environmental Department has hired a part time position to assist with the duties, and

 

     WHEREAS, the position would need an additional $9000 in part time salaries to work the remainder of the fiscal year, and

 

     WHEREAS, the Environmental Operating Budget had accounts where the funds could be transferred to cover the expenses.

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

     SECTION 1:     Approves the transfer of $1000 from Environmental Gas & Oil Account #100-2040-6045, $3000 from Environmental Supplies Account #100-2040-6049, $3000 Environmental Small Tools Account #100-2040-6053, and $2000 from Environmental Travel & Training to Part Time Salaries Environmental Account #100-2040-5002.

 

     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
