WHEREAS, Vanessa Williams/Our Children Do Matter, Inc. hosted a Juneteenth Day Celebration on June 20, 2026 and,
WHEREAS, Foley Police Department donated the items listed above from available funds in the Public Relations Account 100-2010-6052, as it served as a positive public purpose.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves memorializing the purchase and donation of food, drink and condiment items using budgeted funds from the Police Department's Public Relations account 100-2010-6052 for the Juneteenth Day Celebration hosted by Vanessa Williams, "Our Children Do Matter, Inc." held on June 26, 2026.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
