The price of admission to the pool is well below other area pools and we are seeking an increase in price to help offset rising personnel and chemical costs. General Admission to the pool will be increased from $2/person to $3/person. An invidual membership will increase from $25 to $30 per season. A Family Pass I (families with 5 or less members) will increase from $50 to $60 per season. A Family Pass II (families with 6 or more members) will increase from $75 to $85 per season.

WHEREAS, there is a need to update the admissions pricing to the municipal pools to offset increased expenses,
BE IT ORDAINED that the Foley City Council as follows:
Section 1. Daily admission to Max Griffin and Aaronville Pools will be set at $3/person.
Section 2. Additionally, individual passes will be set at $30; Family Pass I will be set at $60 and Family Pass II will be set at $85.
Section 3. The ordinance supercedes all previous ordinances relating to pool admissions.
Section 4. "The terms and provisions of this ordinance are severable. If any part or portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, void, or unconstitutional, that portion shall be deemed severed, and the remaining portions of the ordinance shall remain in full force and effect."
Section 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances, in any manner conflicting herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective upon its publication as required by law.
