WHEREAS, Currently, the intersection located at East Orange Avenue and South Chicago Street are a 2-Way stop; and
WHEREAS, Due to anticipated increased pedestrian movement associated with the sidewalk additions, new cross walks, and the new library, the Engineering Department recommends the intersection be converted to a 4-Way stop controlled intersection.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve the 4-Way stop located at the intersection of East Orange Avenue and South Chicago Street effective at the completion of the South Chicago Street Streetscape Project.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
