Summary
The Environmental Department requests permission to apply for the FY21 Alabama Coastal Area Management Program (ACAMP) Request for Proposals. ACAMP is current accepting applications until March 27, 2020. The award amount will be between $20,000 and $50,000. If approved, the funds would be used to develop a City of Foley Coastal Flood Response Plan. The projected costs will be $75,000 with $37,500 being funded by the grant and $37,500 being funded through cash and in kind services under the FY21 budget.

WHEREAS, The Environmental Department requests permission to apply for FY21 Alabama Coastal Area Management Program (ACAMP) Funding, and
WHEREAS, ACAMP is current accepting applications until March 27, 2020, and
WHEREAS, the award amount will be between $20,000 and $50,000, and
WHEREAS, if approved, the funds would be used to develop a City of Foley Coastal Flood Response Plan, and
WHEREAS, the projected costs will be $75,000 with $37,500 being funded by the grant and $37,500 being funded through cash and in kind services under the FY21 budget.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Environmental Department to apply for FY21 Alabama Coastal Area Management Program (ACAMP) Funding.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
