WHEREAS, Mr. Tom Millican would like to purchase a 100’x100’ segment of the old L&N Railroad ROW property located in Loxley that is owned by the City of Foley and is identified as 05-42-06-14-0-000-018.000, PIN 84229. The parcel is located in the Town of Loxley and borders the east side of Mr. Millican's property which is identified as 05-23-02-09-4-401-004.000, PIN 78001, and,
WHEREAS, Advanced Appraisals was hired by Mr. Millican to appraise this parcel and the appraisal concluded that the market value of this parcel was $4,000, and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Millican would like to make an offer in the amount of $3,500 for said 100’x100’ parcel,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts Mr. Millican’s offer of $3,500 for the 100’x100’ parcel of Railroad ROW property located within PIN #84299 plus a $100 administrative fee which includes deed preparation for a total amount of $3,600.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law
