WHEREAS, Emmanuel's Place is requesting to use Heritage Park and have fees waived for the 5K Charity Run/Fundraiser.
WHEREAS, the event is held to raise money for the start up of Emmanuel's Place, a special needs daycare.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Emmanuel's Place 5k Charity Run/Fundraiser to be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Heritage Park from 5:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
SECTION 2: Approves waiving the fees for the use of Heritage Park for this event.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
