The City desires to purchase real property located at the northeast corner of East Section Avenue and North Poplar Street and further described as PPIN# 67658 and the northwest portion of PPIN# 67656, which combined contains approximately 14+/- acres in the amount of $600,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $610,000.00 to Account No. 400-1060-5100 Public Works Campus-New for the purchase of real property and closing costs located at the northeast corner of East Section Avenue and North Poplar Street.
SECTION 2: Authorizes the Mayor to negotiate and to sign all appropriate documents for the purchase
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
