WHEREAS, the Sanitation Department is requesting permission to make an unplanned capital purchase of a trash cart cleaning system for the total cost of the $6,610.00 from AaquaTools under account # 601-1951, and
WHEREAS, the current trash cart cleaning system is no longer operable and needs to be replaced.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $6,610.00 under account # 601-1951 for the purchase of an unplanned capital item.
SECTION 2: Approves the purchase of a trash cart cleaning system for the amount of $6,610.00 from AaquaTools under account #601-1951.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
