WHEREAS, Foley Sports Tourism Executive Director Don Staley wishes to enter into a sponsorship agreement with Academy Sports and Outdoors effective July 1, 2016, and
WHEREAS, Academy Sports and Outdoors will provide to Foley Sports Tourism $2,500 Cash and $1,500 in-kind trade value in return for #2 Field Sponsorship and other terms and conditions as stipulated in the attached sponsorship agreement .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Foley Sports Tourism to enter into a sponsorship agreement with Academy Sports and Outdoors as stipulated in the attached sponsorship agreement, which is a permanent part of this resolution.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
