The Swift-Coles is Baldwin County's only publicly-owned historic home regularly opened for tours. This community landmark is a popular venue for weddings and a variety of other gatherings. To better meet the needs of the community, the Board of Directors of the Baldwin County Historic Development Commission and the Friends of Swift-Coles encourage sponsorships of $1,000; $2,500; or $5,000 to help with this project.

WHEREAS, The Swift-Coles Home is Baldwin County's only publicly owned historic home regularly opened for tours, and
WHEREAS, this community landmark is a popular venue for weddings and a variety of other gatherings, and
WHEREAS, to better meet the needs of the community it serves, the administrators of the home are planning an on-site pavilion to be used for special occasions,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Agrees to approve a sponsorship in the amount of ___________ to help with this project, with an increase to account 100-5060-6052.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
