WHEREAS, Youngblood Barrett Construction submitted alternates 1 and 2 which were not accepted with the original contract, and
WHEREAS, the City allocated $220,449.45 under Resolution 15-2173 for the City staff to construct the parking areas and ancillary roadways, and
WHEREAS, ribbon curbing, sidewalks and disability parking are needed to be installed, and
WHEREAS, Youngblood Barrett Construction alternates 1 and 2 can be added to the contract at a cost of $53,365.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the change order to add Alternates 1 and 2 for $53,365.00 under Account 12-665-7342 R18.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
