A Resolution to Request Permission to Solicit a Consulting Firm to Develop a Municipal Campus Master Plan
Summary
There is a need to develop a comprehensive, long-range planning document that evaluates existing City-owned facilities and properties and establishes a clear framework for future development, reinvestment and land use decisions. It is our intention to advertise for a consulting firm to develop a Municipal Campus Master Plan. Staff will come back to Council after the proposals are evaluated with a plan to move forward.

WHEREAS, there is a need to develop a comprehensive, long-range planning document that evaluates existing City-owned facilities and properties and establishes a clear framework for future development, reinvestment and land use decisions.
WHEREAS, a Request for Proposal (RFP) has been prepared for the solicitation of a qualified planning and design consulting firm to provide professional services for the development of a Municipal Campus Master Plan.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes staff to advertise for a qualified planning and design consulting firm and to release the RFP to interested parties.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
