WHEREAS, it has been determined that elements within the vessel of the airport fuel tank need to be replaced to ensure that fuel is not contaminated when dispensed into aircraft, and,
WHEREAS, Hoffman Petroleum Equipment Company has provided a quote for the tank repairs in the amount of $60,036.79.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the quote provide by Hoffman Petroleum Equipment Company.
SECTION 2: Appropriates $60,000 to Account #100-1070-6030 (General Equipment Maintenance) for the repairs.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
