WHEREAS, the Library requests permission to memorialize the application that was submitted to the FY27 Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Strengthening Youth and Family Grant, and
WHEREAS, if awarded, the grant's potential maximum award amount is $20,000 with no local match required and
WHEREAS, the application deadline was September 18, 2026.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Memorializes the application submitted for the FY27 Library Services and Technology Act Strengthening Youth and Family Grant.
SECTION 2: Council memorializes the signatures of the Mayor, Library Board members and other City officials to sign the application and other documents required to submit the grant application.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
