WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department has received an unbudgeted donation of $4,830.50 from Ascend Performance Materials, and
WHEREAS, this donation is intended to support the Fire Prevention and Safety programs, specifically with the purchase of smoke alarms and fire extinguishers to be distributed to citizens in need of such devices.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts this donation and amends the FY20 budget to reflect an increase of $4,830.50 in the Fire Department Donations account 100-2020-4651 and an increase of $4,830.50 in the Public Education account 100-2020-6052, for a net effect of $0.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
