Whereas, the City desires to purchase real property located east of Hickory Street and north of US HWY 98.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Mayor and City Staff to negotiate the purchase of certain real property located on the Northwest corner of US Highway 98 and Hickory Street in an amount not to exceed $2 million under Account No. 400-1010-5106 Land Purchases-West US98 and amend the budget accordingly.
SECTION 2: Authorizes the Mayor to sign all appropriate documents for the purchase.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
