We received an insurance settlement on August 31, 2020 from a vehicle accident involving our 2017 KME Custom Pumper in the amount of $21,255.  The repairs were not completed until October 12, 2020 and were invoiced thereafter.  Therefore, the repairs were not budgeted in FY21.  I am requesting a budget increase in our Vehicle Maintenance account for $21,255 to cover these repairs.

     WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department received an insurance settlement on August 31, 2020 from damage to the 2017 KME Custom Pumper that occurred on July 28, 2020, and

     WHEREAS, the major repairs to the truck were not completed until October 12, 2020 and were not budgeted in the FY21 budget.

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1:     Appropriates additional FY21 budget funds in the amount of $21,255 to Vehicle Maintenance Account No. 100-2020-6032.

     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
