WHEREAS, Resolution 18-1148 approved the Revitalization & Beautificaiton Board to go to bid for an artificial Christmas Tree, and
WHEREAS, the Revitalization & Beautification Board received a bid from Northern Lights Display, LLC for a 30' tree in the amount of $29,000, and
WHEREAS, the Revitalization & Beautification Board received a bid from Wintergreen Corporation for a 36' tree in the amount of $37,769.20 and a 40' tree in the amount of $48,613.32, and
WHEREAS, the Revitalization & Beautification Board received a bid from Mosca Design, Inc. for a 30' tree in the amount of $20,000.00, a 36' tree in the amount of $30,000.00, and a 40' tree in the amount of $39,750.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Foley, Alabama as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Revitalization & Beautification Board to purchase a 36 ft tower tree from Wintergreen Corporation in the amount of $37,769.20.
SECTION 2: Approves the transfer of funds up to $49,000.00 from Small Tools Decorations/Lights account #100-5080-6180 to Cpaital Purchase account # 100-5080-5100.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
