WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department is requesting to go to bid for a heavy duty truck to replace a totaled truck, and
WHEREAS, the capital purchase would need the allocation of $44,200 under Account #100-5090-5100, and
WHEREAS, the 2020 Dodge Ram 1500, VIN # 1C6RR7KT9LS115712 has been totaled by AMIC, and
WHEREAS, AMIC paid the city $27,486 to account 100-1012-4703 which needs to be appropriated, and
WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department is requesting to declare the 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 as surplus (FAS #00000431) and send it to scrap for disposal.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Council approves the Nature Parks Department to go to bid for the purchase of a heavy duty truck, appropriates $44,200 to Account #100-5090-5100 and $27,486 to 100-1012-4703 Insurance Proceeds revenue account.
SECTION 2: Declares the 2020 Dodge Ram 1500, VIN # 1C6RR7KT9LS115712 (FAS #00000431), as surplus for disposal.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
