WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation is currently renting a field at Aaronville Park to a local men's church softball league, and
WHEREAS, Anchor Point Church is requesting permission to grill and sell lunch plates during these games to raise money for a local nonprofit ministry called Raise the Roof Ministries.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Anchor Point Church to grill and sell lunch plates at Aaronville Park during men's softball church league games in October and November to raise money for Raise the Roof Ministries.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
