WHEREAS, Resolution 16-0289 approved the application for the Rural Business Development Grant program.
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded the grant for $124,895.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the Rural Business Development Grant in the amount of $124,895 to provide funding for ice merchandising and production equipment and one food trailer.
SECTION 2: Authorizes the placement of appropriate advertisements, letters and postings soliciting Request for Proposals from quailfied vendors.
SECTION 3: Amends the budgets for Account No. 12-5832 R28 GRANT by an increase of $124,895, Account No. 12-665-7375 R28 TRUCK by an increase of $33,367, and Account No. 12-665-7375 R28 ICE by an increase of $91,528.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
