A Resolution to Amend the Capital Purchase Account for Fiscal Year 2023 Approved Items that were not completed

 

Summary

Resolution 23-1094 approved by council in fiscal year 2023 to purchase (10) vehicles and equipment to outfit the 10 vehicles prior to year end. The equipment was purchased, but the vehicles were unable to be outfitted with the equipment prior to the end of fiscal year 2023. Finance submitted to amend the budget for fiscal year 2024 by $70,000.00, but it has been determined that more money is needed to complete the outfitting of the 10 vehicles.  We are requesting to increase the FY2024 Capital Purchase account 100-2010-5100  by an additional $120,000.00 to outfit the 10 vehicles.

     WHEREAS, Resolution 23-1094 approved by council in fiscal year 2023 to purchase (10) vehicles and equipment to outfit the 10 vehicles prior to year end and

 

     WHEREAS, The equipment was purchased, but the vehicles were unable to be outfitted with the equipment prior to the end of fiscal year 2023. Finance submitted to amend the budget for fiscal year 2024

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

     SECTION 1:     Approves the increase of funds for FY2024 in the amount of  $120,000.00 to the capital purchase account # 100-2010-5100 to outfit equipment to the 10 vehicles already purchased. 

  

     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
