WHEREAS, the City of Gulf Shores Fire Department has upgraded their radio communication devices and equipment, and,
WHEREAS, they chose to donate the equipment to Foley Fire Department to expand our current radio system, and,
WHEREAS, the Fire Department requests the acceptance of this generous donation of radio communication equipment that is valued at $54,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves accepting the donation of radio communication equipment from the City of Gulf Shores at a total value of $54,000.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
