The Foley Public Library has received an award in the amount of $500.00 from the Walmart Community Grant Foundation to be used toward Halloween Extravaganza expenses. The Library would like to ask the Foley City Council to accept the award and allow it to be placed into the budget to assist in purchasing items needed for the Halloween Extravaganza which will be held on October 24, 2015.

WHEREAS, the City of Foley Public Library has received an award grant in the amount of $500.00 from the Walmart Community Foundation, and
WHEREAS, the City of Foley Public Library has designated expenditures for the 2015 Halloween Extravaganza for the aforementioned funding.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the award of $500.00 from the Walmart Community Foundation, and
SECTION 2: Appoints John Jackson to serve as the grant manager, who will be responsible for submitting all required reports to the Granting Agency and to the City's Grant Administrator.
SECTION 3: Amends the budget accordingly and approves the expenditure of grant funds. The following account shall be used: account #04-600-8110 (Public Relations and Community Development) and account # 04-5861 (Donations).
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
