WHEREAS, Resolution 24-1341-RES authorized the application for funding assistance for certain improvements at the Foley Municipal Airport through the Federal Aviation Administration and the State of Alabama, acting by and through the Alabama Department of Transportation Aeronautics Bureau (ALDOT), and,
WHEREAS, the improvement associated with this application was the construction of an 8-unit T-Hangar and the application was for reimbursement of project expenses, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Foley has received a grant offer from ALDOT in the amount of $3,605.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Memorializes the acceptance of the ALDOT grant offer in the amount of $3,605.
SECTION 2: Approves the following revenue account and amends the budget accordingly: 400-1070-4206 State Airport T-Hangar Const. by an increase of $3,605.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
