WHEREAS, the City of Foley owns the property located at 18840 Underwood Road (formerly the York Property) and there is a dilapidated house and garage structure on the property, and,
WHEREAS, the structures on the property have been in disrepair for years and were severely damaged by Hurricane Sally and are no longer needed for municipal purposes.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Declares the structures on the property located at 18840 Underwood Road as surplus and authorizes the removal of these structures by demolition and/or best means possible.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
