WHEREAS, on Res-21-1008, Council granted permission to CDD to purchase a new vehicle for $28,000, and
WHEREAS, an invitation to bid was released, but no bids were submitted in response to the request, and
WHEREAS, CDD would like to move forward with the purchase under the State of Alabama master agreement number: MA 999 200000000221 with Stivers Ford Lincoln in Montgomery, and
WHEREAS, the truck is coming in $400 over budget and CDD requests to increase the budget by $400 and move forward with that purchase.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Council approves the budget increase to account #100-2032-5100 for $400.00.
SECTION 2: Council approves the request to move forward with the purchase of the vehicle for up to $28,400 to Stivers Ford Lincoln under the State of Alabama Master Agreement: MA 999 200000000221.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
