Body
      WHEREAS, the City of Foley, Alabama, adopted Ordinance No. 387-87 on June
15, 1987, ordaining a Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map for the City of Foley which has
subsequently been amended, and
 
      WHEREAS, the City of Foley has received a request that specific property within
the City be re-zoned, and the City Council of the City of Foley deems it necessary, for the
purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the City to
amend said Ordinance, and
 
      WHEREAS, all requirements to the laws of the State of Alabama, with regard to
the preparation of the report of the Foley Planning Commission and subsequent action
of the City Council have been met.
 
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FOLEY, ALABAMA, while in regular session May 6, 2014 as follows:
 
      Section 1. That the official Zoning Map of the City of Foley, Alabama be
amended to rezone the portion of property to PUD Residential (Planned Unit Development); said property description as follows:

Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 11 Township 8 South Range 4 East, run South 39.9 feet more or less; thence West 857 feet more or less; thence continue West 2045 feet more or less; thence South 16.9 feet more or less; thence southeasterly along a curve 207.1 feet more or less; thence continue southeasterly along a curve 103.8 feet more or less to the Point of Beginning; thence southeasterly 573.5 feet more or less; thence southwesterly 558 feet more or less; thence southeasterly 131.2 feet more or less; thence northeasterly 157.9 feet more or less; thence continue northeasterly 368.8 feet more or less; thence southeasterly 676.4 feet more or less; thence southerly 579.5 feet more or less; thence northwesterly along a curve 798.3 feet more or less along the back lot line of Glen Lakes Lot 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and 289B; thence southwesterly 1168.1 feet more or less along the back lot line of Glen Lakes Lot 288B, 287B, 286B, 285B, 284B, 283B, 282B, 281B, 280B, 279B, 278B, and 277B; thence northwesterly 258 feet more or less along the back lot line of Glen Lakes Lot 277B, 276B, 275B, and 274B; thence North 1638.9 feet more or less along the back lot line of Glen Lakes Lot 273B, 272B, 271B, 270B, 269B, 268B, 267B, 266B, 265B, 264B, 263B, 262B, 261B, 260B, 259B, and 258B; thence southeasterly 308.5 feet more or less; thence northeasterly 60.5 feet more or less; thence northwesterly 100 feet more or less; thence northeasterly 397.7 feet more or less; thence southeasterly 68.1 feet more or less to the Point of Beginning, with said tract of land containing 51.8 acres more or less.
 
      Section 2. That the official Zoning Map of the City of Foley be revised to
indicate this amendment and duly certified by the appropriate municipal officials.
