WHEREAS, Foley city limits contain the headwaters for the Bon Secour River Watershed, and
WHEREAS, Mobile Bay National Estuary Program has requested Foley to be the project manager for the development of a comprehensive watershed management plan for the Bon Secour River Watershed, which is being funded through NFWF.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the City serving as the project manager for the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program for the development of a comprehensive watershed management plan for the Bon Secour River.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
