WHEREAS, Resolution 26-1096 approved and appropriated funding for the construction of the Highway 59 Sidewalk from E Orchid to E Section Ave and
WHEREAS, Due to the steep grade of the ditch that runs along this area, the project will require additional labor and paving to effectively complete. and
WHEREAS, Street Department has received a quote from James Brother's Excavating in the amount of $18,630.00 for the additional work. and
WHEREAS, Street Department is requesting Council to approve, appropriate, and memorialize the funding in the amount of $19,000.00 to Account # 400-3010-5101 A23 FY26
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves, appropriates, and memorializes the additional funds in the amount of $19,000.00 for the Highway 59 Sidewalk From E Orchid to E Section Project under Account No# 400-3010-5101 A23 FY26.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
