WHEREAS, to accommodate the changing needs of the Public Works and Street Departments, certain positions on the Pay Classification Plan need to be eliminated and/or authorized.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Amends the Pay Classification Plan in the Public Works Department by eliminating the position of Administrative Assistant III (Job Code 1060102 / Grade 80) and authorizing the addition of one (1) slot in the position of Administrative Assistant I (Job Code 1060101 / Grade 60).
SECTION 2: Amends the Pay Classification Plan in the Street Department by eliminating the two (2) slots in the position of Part-Time Street Laborer (Job Code 3010101 / Grade 20) and authorizing the addition of two (2) slots in the position of Part-Time Equipment Operator I (Job Code 3010102 / Grade 50).
SECTION 3: Amends the Pay Classification Plan in the Street Department by decreasing two (2) slots in the position of Equipment Operator I (Job Code 3010103 / Grade 60) and increasing two (2) slots in the position of Equipment Operator I - Construction Maintenance (Job Code 3010116 / Grade 70).
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
