Summary

The City of Foley continues to partner with the Southwest Alabama Partnership for Training and Development (SWAPTE) & the Alabama Career Center (Alabama Works). The City has an opportunity to provide some additional training for its employees that would qualify for reimbursement.  The total cost of the training ($2,900) will be covered under the Alabama Workforce Stabilization Program.

     WHEREAS, the City of Foley continues to partner with the Southwest Alabama Partnership for Training and Development (SWAPTE) & the Alabama Career Center (Alabama Works), and

     WHEREAS, the City has an opportunity to provide some additional training for its employees that would qualify for  reimbursement, and

     WHEREAS, the total cost of the training ($2,900) will be covered under the Alabama Workforce Stabilization Program.                     

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1:     Memorializes entering in the Southwest Alabama Partnership For Training and Development for the Alabama Workforce Stabilization Program totaling $2,900.00.

     SECTION 2:     Amends the budget accordingly: increase to expense account #100-1013-6114 (Management Training / City Wide)  in the amount of $2,900 &  increase to revenue account #100-1013-4301 (SWAPTE-AL Workforce Stabilization Prog) in the amount of $2,900.

     SECTION 3:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
