WHEREAS, the City of Foley Public Library intends to make application to the Dollar General Summer Reading Grant in the amount of $3,000.00 to be used to purchase materials associated with the Foley Public Library Summer Reading Program, and
WHEREAS, the deadline for the grant application is February 15, 2024, and
WHEREAS, the amount of the grant is $3,000.00 with no local match.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the application by the City of Foley Public Library to the Dollar General Summer Reading Grant program for funding, if awarded, will purchase materials for the Foley Public Library Summer Reading Program.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
