WHEREAS, the Foley Municipal Court uses a Court Bond checking account to administer court functions, and
WHEREAS, the current account has been compromised and the Foley Police Department is investigating, and
WHEREAS, Bryant Bank recommends closing the current Court Bond account and opening a new account.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes the City Treasurer to close the comprised Court Bond checking account at Bryant Bank and opening a new account.
SECTION 2: Approves the following City Officials as signors on the account, with two signatures required for checks written for $5,000 or more:
J. Wayne Trawick, Council President
Ralph G. Hellmich, Councilmember
Charles J. Ebert, III, Councilmember
Sue Steigerwald, Treasurer
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
