WHEREAS, Foley Police Department requests permission to apply for a grant through the Walmart Foundation Community grant program in the amount of $1000.00 to be used towards purchasing training equipment.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Foley Police Department's request to apply for a grant through the Walmart Foundation Community Grant Program in the amount of $1000.00 to be used towards purchasing training equipment.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
