Title
Amending Pay Classification Plan for Two Position Upgrades in IT Department
Summary
Description of Topic: (who, what, where, when, why and how much)
Two positions in the IT department were operating at a significantly higher level than what the current job descriptions reflected. Therefore, there was a need to have those jobs re-evaluated. The job analysis concluded pay grade upgrades to these two positions needed to be established. The recommendation by The Archer Company is to upgrade the Information Systems Manager from a G-18 to a G-22, and, to upgrade the Network Technician from a G-12 to a Network Administrator at a G-16. The net annual effect to the budget is approximately $10k in salaries and benefits which has been included in the FY17 draft budget. There is sufficient funds in the FY16 budget to make this effective with Pay Period beginning 8/23/2016 which is the recommendation in this resolution.
