Pastor Bill Curtin with Foley United Methodist Church is requesting the use of the Heritage Park and Pavilion in an effort to bless and serve the Foley community they would like to offer a weekly covid-friendly outdoor worship service on Sunday mornings from 4/10/2022 - 9/4/22 (excluding Sunday May 8th which is reserved for Art In The Park). They will provide all of the equipment needed. They will have guest speakers and musicians. The will invite people to bring their own blankets/chairs and enjoy service together. WHEREAS, Pastor Bill Curtin with Foley United Methodist Church is requesting the use of the Heritage Park and Pavilion in an effort to bless and serve the Foley community, and
WHEREAS, they would like to offer a weekly covid-friendly outdoor worship service on Sunday mornings from 4/10/2022 - 9/4/22 (excluding Sunday May 8th which is reserved for Art In The Park) and,
WHEREAS, they will provide all of the equipment needed and will have guest speakers and musician, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Waives the fees for the use of Heritage Park and Pavilion requested by Pastor Bill Curtin with Foley United Methodist Church on Sunday mornings from 4/10/2022 - 9/4/22 (excluding Sunday May 8th which is reserved for Art In The Park) from 7:00am - 9:00am.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
