WHEREAS, due to the retirement of the Street Maintenance Supervisor, there is a desire to restructure and replace the Street Maintenance Supervisor position with a Crewleader/Equipment Operator III (Maintenance) position. The Archer Company has evaluated the Crewleader/Equipment Operator III (Maintenance) job and classified it at a Grade 11, Non-Exempt, Job Code #1834. No budget adjustment is necessary for this action.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: The Pay Classification Plan is hereby amended to remove the position Street Maintenance Supervisor (Job Code #1820).
SECTION 2: The Pay Classification Plan is hereby amended to add the position Crewleader/Equipment Operator III (Maintenance), Non-Exempt, Job Code #1834.
SECTION 3: No Budget Adjustment is necessary or being requested.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
